本論文探討達瑪雅耶合唱團創作的歌謠及展演活動,係以質化取向的研究方式分析鄒族傳統歌謠的創作過程。以達瑪雅耶合唱團為對象,觀察2001-2012年錄製音樂CD的過程。本研究除分析達瑪雅耶合唱團歷年創作的歌謠,也實際觀察達瑪雅耶合唱團的音樂創作。本文首先探討鄒族傳統歌謠與創作歌謠有其差異特質,其次探討合唱團的形成過程、當代音樂的創作,合唱練習及展演活動。再者分析五張CD內容,創作音樂的曲目內容、製作過程及歌曲賞析。本論文認為達瑪雅耶合唱團歌謠創作過程可歸納為四種類型,遵循傳統型、融合型、混成(並置)、創新型等,每一種類型即代表鄒族音樂,在社會變遷脈絡下發展的樣貌。本研究亦認為,鄒族音樂的再生產衍生許多新曲風和社會文化意義,當然從實踐觀點發現達瑪雅耶合唱團歌謠的再生產過程諸多困境與限制。
The purpose of this study was to investigate Tamayae’s ballads and its performances. A qualitative approach was conducted via observing Tamayae’s process of recording music from 2001 to 2012. Another analysis was to observe how Tamayae composing music. The first aim was to find out the differences between Tsou’s traditional ballads and creating ballads. And then it discussed how the chorus grouped, the composition of the modern music, the practice and performances. Finally, the five CDs contents, repertoire, the music composing process and the appreciations of songs were examined in the study. The results of the study were that Tamayae’s music composition can be classified into four types, the traditional type, the mixing type, the harmonious type (coexistence) and the creating type. Each type presents the different developments of Tsou's music under the social changes. The results also revealed that many new styles of music, social and cultural significance were derived from Tsou’s music reproduction. Still, there are some difficulties obstructing Tamayae’s way.
