藉由太陽能板充電輔助機車電瓶啟動

摘要


由於機車在長程旅程中會消耗本身電瓶的電力,可藉由一套太陽能產生電力供電的緊急備用設備連接到機車上。這是以太陽能供電為基礎的系統,當機車電瓶電量不足時,可以產生電力供電給機車使用。運用合適的的太陽能板先行產生電力儲存在鋰電池中當機車電瓶電力不足時,可使用鋰電池轉接到機車電瓶供電以利機車啟動。當遇到電瓶電力耗盡的緊急情況下是非常有幫助的。 本研究以2片尺寸230x155mm多晶矽3.5Wp太陽能板串連接輸入電力到4片3.7V鋰電池中儲電,藉由鋰電池充電快與工作電壓高及放電量低特性加快改善原直接使用太陽能板直接充入電瓶所費時和日照問題。 實驗結果本系統僅花費3小時20分鐘相較於直接使用太陽能板充電所需的4小時具有效益。

On long trips, motorcycles could go out of battery energy. An emergency power resource can be provided through photovoltaic (PV) panels attached to a motorcycle. This work proposes a solar energy based system that can generate electricity for motorcycles when the batteries are out of power. An appropriate-sized solar panel is used to first generate electricity that is stored in a lithium battery. When there is shortage of power in motorcycles’ battery, the lithium battery will be used to power up the motorcycle battery so as to supply power. This is very useful in case of emergencies when the batteries are completely out of energy. This research uses 2 pieces of 230 x 155 mm polycrystalline silicon solar panel with 3.5WP to generate power into 4 pieces of 3.7V lithium batteries. Owing to the characteristics of fast charging of lithium batteries , the high voltage, and the low discharge, this method greatly improves the charging time and the unpredictable problem of sunlight, when compared to directly charging power into the storage battery using the solar panel. Experiments show that the proposed system requires only 3 hours 20 minutes , compared to the 4 hours required when direct solar charging is used.
