In recent years, resource depletion and waste have increased rapidly. In order to comply with the environmental laws requirements, businesses must actively strive to lower the environmental impacts of their products. Therefore, many companies have begun considering environmental issues such as recovery and reuse of products or wastes. This study tried to apply Taguchi method to optimize the parameter design of distillation for solvent recovery, in order to assist the companies to improve their product output of distillation. Through a series of the experiments and analyses, it was to find out the best factors combination of distillation for solvent recovery. The results of this study indicated that the Taguchi method can help obtain the better production conditions to improve the output of distillation.
