隨著行動裝置的普遍化,資策會產業情報研究所(MIC)指出,使用者較往年增加遊戲時間在行動裝置上,每天平均行動遊戲時間約52.6分鐘。因此,若能了解遊戲介面吸引使用者注意力及觀看行為,將有助於使用者對於遊戲介面的使用性及使用動機,在遊戲設計領域亦是研究的重要議題。本研究以應用程式商店App Store中遊戲類為主要探討對象,歸納出遊戲首頁介面配置設計的重要因素為螢幕方向、編排方式及元素位置,依據探討結果製作實驗樣本,提供未來行動遊戲介面配置設計參考。 本研究透過注意力實驗,給予實驗樣本的刺激,藉由眼動儀器與腦波儀器收集人們注意力訊息,進行分析行動遊戲介面設計因素,研究結果如下: 一、配置因素對於注意力的影響:配置設計為直向螢幕、並以水平排列和開始按鈕位置於中間與右方,容易使人專心思考。 二、配置因素對於觀看行為的影響:以單因子變異數分析結果有顯著影響。「開始按鈕」水平排列於上面中間位置、「標題」位於左側、「設定按鈕」配置於畫面置中,較容易讓使用者注視。 三、使用者注意力品質與觀看行為之間的關係:推論一個好的介面設計應要有高注意力、低專注率,可以吸引目光並輕鬆理解介面資訊。因此在行動遊戲介面設計上,介面元素的編排設計可列為影響注意力的重要設計要素。
With the popularization of mobile devices, there is a trend that people spend more time in playing mobile game. According to a survey from the authoritative MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute) of III (Institute for Information Industry), the daily average time that mobile devise users’ playing game is about 52.6 minutes and on the rise yearly. The studies on the improvement of the game interface may lead to the attractiveness and the usability of the game. In this study, we explore the issues related to the design of the initial page of a mobile game. We focus on mobile games and choose the samples from the App Store. Base on the results of analyzing these samples, we implemented an experimental mobile game. The user study is conducted through analyzing data from usability experiments, Eye tracking instruments and EEG equipment are employed to record users’ game-playing behavior such as users’ attention message. The outcome shows that important factors affecting the designing of the interface for mobile games can be summarized as follows: 1. The factors of interface configuration that affects users’ attention: For vertical screen, the design of picture elements in interface configuration are better arranged horizontally and the start button is placed in the middle or to the right. People could be benefited in concentrating on thinking. 2. The factors of interface configuration that affects viewing behavior: This study was using one-way ANOVAs to analyze the eye movement data for knowing relation between interface configuration and viewing behavior. The result shows that different interface configurations could significantly affect the users’ viewing behavior. 3. The relationship between users’ attention quality and viewing behavior: This study was found that a good design of interface configuration have high EEG attention and low viewing attention. There can attract attention and keep a relaxed mood to realize the information. Therefore, the design of interface configuration in mobile game is an important element to affect the users’ attention.
