國中生在環境及課業的雙重壓力下,憂鬱個案日趨增加,國內外文獻均指出運動能有效增進身心健康,規律的運動習慣對生活及情緒均有正向助益。本研究主旨在探討台南縣國中生運動參與程度與憂鬱傾向之關係。研究工具為研究者自編之「國中生運動參與及憂鬱傾向調查表」。研究對象為台南縣南新國中學生,共發出537份問卷,回收有效問卷500份,回收率為93.11%。研究結果如下: 一、 國中生運動參與程度以七年級運動程度最高,八年級最低;男生的參與程度較女生高。憂鬱傾向以九年級憂鬱程度最高,八年級最低;男性國中生的憂鬱傾向高於女性國中生。 二、 不同年級別與性別的國中生在運動參與程度上有顯著差異,七年級國中學生的運動參與程度顯著高於八年級學生;男國中生的運動參與強度顯著高於女生。 三、 不同性別的國中生在憂鬱指數上有顯著差異,國中男生的憂鬱指數顯著高於國中女生。 四、 國中生運動參與程度與憂鬱指數為負相關,運動參與程度越高,憂鬱指數則越低。由多元逐步迴歸分析可知有效預測變項為「身體感覺很累」與「運動時間51分以上」變項,整體解釋量為2.9%。
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between sport participation and depression tendancy of junior high school students. Research instruments included the sport participation scale and the depression tendancy scale. The participants of this study were the Nan-shin junior high school students. In addition, the questionnaire method, “sport participation scale” and “depression tendancy scale” as well as SPSS were applied in the research and 500 out of 537 questionnaires were valid. The recovery rate was 93.11%. The findings revealed that: 1. The seventh grade students have the highest degree of sport participation, depression tendancy to the highest level of ninth-grade. Male students than female students to sport participation and depression tendancy. 2. In sport participation scales, individual background variables show significant differences. 3. In depression tendancy scales, individual background variables show significant differences. 4. The interactions of sport participation and depression tendancy were correlated.
