台灣第一所護理學研究所博士班,由國立台灣大學民國八十六年创辦。台灣的第一所職業學校始於民國三十三年,前後歷經五十三年,台灣才得以有完整的護理教育學制。台灣培育的護理學博士有二位已於九十二年六月畢業。目前共有九所大學負起培育護理博士班的職責。由於筆者全程參與台大護理學研究所博士班的教學,企圖在本文提出一些建議。包括博士班設置的培育理念、課程設計、學生之招收、學习過程的監測、研究能力、指導教授的準備度、教育資源及教育成效之評值等,期望護理教育者對博士班教育能凝成共識,也期盼未来博士班之畢業生對發展護理新知及醫療體系的政策上有所貢獻,更期盼台灣能有護理學博士教育的聯盟組織形成,並與美國的國際護理博士教育網接軌。
The first nursing education at the doctoral levelin Taiwan started in 1997 at the National TaiwanUniversity.In contrast,the first vocational nursingeducation in Taiwan began in 1944.It thus took fifty-three years to have a complete nursing educationalsystem functioning in Taiwan.In 2003,two doctoralstudents graduated.They are the first two Ph.D.gra-duates in nursing in Taiwan.Currently,nine univer-sities have doctoral nursing education programs.Having throughout been part of the teaching processat Ph.D.level at National Taiwan University,I wouldlike to offer some suggestions that may help theprograms of other universities,including the philosophyof our program,its curriculum design,on theenrollment of students,on the monitoring of thelearning process,on research competence,on thepreparation of advisors and on the evaluation of educationaleffectiveness.It is hoped that Ph.D.graduates will contributegreatly to nursing knowledge over the next generationand improve policy making in the health caredelivery system.Furthermore,networking throughthe International Network for Doctoral Education inNursing(INDEN)is highly likely to occur and willbe very useful to everyone.(Full text in Chinese)
