資優者向被視為是國家社會的重要資產,其中數理資優教育品質更被認為是國家競爭力與社會進步的關鍵。但在中等教育分流政策下,學校可能因此成為階層化社會再製的過濾器,藉由其文化和意識型態霸權行動者的角色,傳遞社會控制、複製階級。本研究主要目的在探討,高中數理資優教育的實施是否再製社會階級間不平等的現象。為研究目的,以立意取樣方式,選取臺中市一所國立高中數理資優班為研究現場。並針對與現場有關的文件進行內容分析;之後再由研究現場選取15位學生進行深度訪談。經上述過程,本研究獲致的結論主要有: 一、我國高中數理資優教育採單獨設班模式辦理且集中於明星學校。 二、我國高中數理資優教育實施所產生的社會文化再製現主要有「資本主義經濟主導高中數理資優教育的目標」等六項。
Senior high school students talented in math and science are deemed the important assets of the country and society, the quality of gifted education is the key to national competition and social advancement. On the policy of the divisions of secondary education, being the operator of cultural hegemony and ideology, the school may reproduce social stratification and pass over social control. This article tries to find whether the gifted education reproduce the social stratification, using the research processes of convenience sampling method to choose the study field, analyzing the documents, interviewing 15 students. The conclusions are: 1. Gifted classes sited at prestigious schools were the main model of math-science gifted education in senior high school. 2. On the basis of reproduction theories, such factors as「economic needs were predominant over the purpose of gifted education in senior high school」influence the practice of gifted education in senior high school.
