Movement development is the foundation of the physical and mental development of young children, and is closely related to an individual's overall development. Previous research indicated that the maturity of movement depends on the coordination and interaction of the nervous system and muscle system. The nervous system of a six years old child is with a great deal of maturity and is capable of performing all kinds of movement in daily life. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to discuss the relationship between Autonomic Nervous System and the movement development from neurophysiologic perspective. Moreover, the functions of children's movement development and the Autonomic Nervous System were summarized. The results could provide reference materials to the research related to Autonomic Nervous System and children's movement development in the future.
