精省後歷屆全國運動會主題特色之初探

A Study on the Topic Characteristic of Taiwan's National Athletic Games in Previous Times after Taiwan's Provincial Government Downsizing

摘要

臺灣全國運動會自1999年起，已辦理五屆。筆者也對於臺灣全國運動會成立背景、意義與目的、及其結合運動行銷和地方特色產生的影響，以及歷屆全國運動會的主題，吉祥物、大會標誌、參賽人數與競賽內容，令人感到好奇，也激發筆者研究臺灣全國運動會的動機。本文以歷史研究法、文獻分析法為主並輔以訪談法，來加以探究，經分析、整理、歸納後，得到以下結論：臺灣全國運動會是因應行政院體育委員會改革臺灣區運動會後，為搭配全民運動會而設置的全國性運動賽會。其主要目的是為提升亞、奧運運動項目選手、教練的權益，並兼負推展全民運動的運動賽會，主要意義在於政府重視國民的運動權益。在運動行銷與結合地方特色的雙頭並行，使得每屆的全國運動會都吸引了非常多的觀光人潮，進而提升了當地的觀光產業。藉由各屆次資料可提供未來辦理縣市作為參考。

Since 1999, Taiwan's ＜||＞National Athletic Games＜||＞ has held five times. It is interested to me for its established background, meaning and purpose, as well as the influence which derives from the connection between the athletic marketing and local characteristics. The historical research, documentary analysis and interviews are applied for the methodology of this study to explore the related subjects which I discuss. Through my analysis and deductive investigation, the results indicate that Taiwan＇s National Athletic Games is a kind of national athletic contest, which sets up for accommodating the revolution of Taiwan Regional Games by Executive Yuan Sports Affair Council, and thus to match up Taiwan Citizens Games. The purpose of this change is for elevating players' and coaches' rights and interests in Asian Games and Olympic Games. Besides, it is true that Taiwan's National Athletic Games is a contest which takes the responsibility to propel citizen sport activities. Taiwan's National Athletic Games always attracts plenty of tourists to go sightseeing to Taiwan, and it also elevates the sightseeing industry. With the reference to the previous year's experience, this study intends to provide other host cities the direction for managing Taiwan's National Athletic Games in the future.
