失效模式與效應分析(Failure Mode & Effect Analysis,簡稱FMEA)是一種系統化之工程設計輔助工具,主要係利用表格方式協助工程分析,使其在工程設計時早期發現潛在缺陷及其影響程度,及早謀求解決之道,以避免失效之發生或降低其發生時產生之影響。本研究將利用FMEA機制中之PFMEA(Process FMEA),針對印前製造過程中所遇到的各個失效因子提出來並說明對製造程序會有什麼影響,接著由各印前輸出公司印前人員來客觀評估各個失效因子嚴重度(S)、發生率(O)、偵測度(D)的等級做討論並做出結論,而後並經過公式計算求得風險優先指數(Risk Priority Number; RPN),最後得到的數據就可以來做優先改善製程的次序。而風險優先指數(Risk Priority Number; RPN)就是以嚴重度(S)、發生率(O)、偵測度(D)三個評估值相乘而得的結果,使印前工作人員能確實了解到風險存在的嚴重性及問題點的所在,因而對於印前工作的失效因素預防及不良率的降低會有明顯改善。
