This article commences with creative body movement, and considers how body movement transforms psychological events. Through a case study of dance therapy, I probe two questions. First, if the client does undergo certain psychological transformation during the therapy process, then in the possible becoming period of transformation, what is the role of ”body”? Second, what did the dance therapist do during the period, and what was the significance of his/her so doing? By the investigation of the body movement, this article systematically developed of a concept (or theory) of ”Creative Body Movement”. From the core qualities of creative body activities, the psychological transformation brought by the body as vehicle, and the complete process of basic experiences, this discussion builds up the optimal understanding of body movement, and the guidance of psychological process.
