摘要

本文綜覽了中國書法的心理學研究。(1)首先介紹中國書法之心理特性。研究包括生理，心理變化，情緒，感知，認知，動作及應用和臨床治療。(2)我們在研究及臨床的實用上，以書法治療的系統方法，與當今主流醫學的治療方法，實證地做了對照探討，包括：生物反饋、針灸、藥物、靜坐和肌肉放鬆訓練。(3)書法治療本著「證據為本」的理念及規範展開臨床檢驗，過程符合國際臨床檢驗的要求，合作醫院共有四家。治療項目包括：精神分裂症，鼻咽癌症，失智症及神經症等。項目都十分成功，呈現具體療效。(4)我們發展了一套「生物反饋書法治療儀器」的技術；為了提昇書法治療的學術性及專業性，開設了研究院書法治療文憑課程；推動了國際書法治療學會發展，旨在推廣書法書寫在身心健康與治療科學，醫療應用等方面的作用。

This paper presents an overview of the field of calligraphy therapy from 4 perspectives: (1) experimental research into the practitioner's physiology, mental state, emotions, sensory perception, cognition, movements and associated brain activities; (2) empirical comparisons of calligraphy treatment with the mainstream medical interventions such as biofeedback, acupuncture, medicine, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation; (3) conducting clinical trials of calligraphy treatments with patients of schizophrenia, nasopharnangeal carcinoma (NPC), Alzheimer's Disease and Depression in 4 major hospitals; and (4) development of a biofeedback system of calligraphy therapy, some professional training programs for calligraphy therapy as well as the formation of an International Society of Calligraphy Therapy. These efforts have aimed at promoting calligraphy therapy as a new branch of behavioral medicine as well as a science for health promotion and rehabilitation.
