On the common parts of description in the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā and the Madhyāntavibhāgabhāsya: with a focus on the author of the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā, the formation date of the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya and the formation order of Sthiramati's works

摘要


在《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》和《中邊分別論》之中可看到與波羅蜜的語源解釋有關的「十二種最勝性」,再者《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》、《中邊分別論釋疏》、《經莊嚴註疏》都有提到以「七種偉大性」來判定是否為大乘。在西藏佛教,《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》與《大乘阿毘達磨集論釋》的作者被認為是最勝子。相對於此,漢譯佛教則認為《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》的作者是安慧,而《大乘阿毘達磨集論釋》的作者是師子覺。再者,安慧所註釋的《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》、《中邊分別論釋疏》、《經莊嚴註疏》的成立順序尚未被確認。還有《大乘阿毘達磨集論釋》的著者問題尚未有確切的證據來論證,或許從《大乘阿毘達磨集論釋》的成立年代的論證能為著者的問題提供一些線索。職是之故,本論文透過在這些經論中的「十二種最勝性」以及「七種偉大性」的檢討,來考察《大乘阿毘達磨雜集論》的作者問題、《大乘阿毘達磨集論釋》的成立年代與安慧的著作之成立順序。

In the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā and the Madhyāntavibhāgabhāsya, twelve kinds of superiority (dvādaśavidha-paramatā) are well known and this fact has a relation to the etymological interpretation of superiority (pāramitā). Moreover, the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā, the Madhyāntavibhāgatīkā and the Sūtrālamkāravrttibhāsya refer to seven kinds of greatness (saptavidha-mahattva) as the definition of Mahayāna. In Tibetan Buddhism, 最勝子is considered as the author of the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā and the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya. On the other hand, 安慧is considered as the author of the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā and 師子覺as the author of the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya in Chinese Buddhism. In addition, the formation order of Sthiramati's works - the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā, Madhyāntavibhāgatīkā and Sūtrālamkāravrttibhāsya - has not yet been made clear. Furthermore, although the problem of the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya's author has not yet been solved by accurate evidence, it is possible that clarifying the formation date of the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya gives a clue to resolve this problem. Therefore, by casting light on the contents of twelve kinds of superiority and seven kinds of greatness in the above commentaries, this paper will survey the author of the Abhidharmasamuccayavyākhyā, the formation date of the Abhidharmasamuccayabhā☐ya and the formation order of Sthiramati's works.
