運用親子關係治療課程於收養家庭之親子關係與收養適應探究

The Impact of Utilizing Child-Parent Relationship Therapy Courses for Adoptive Family on Parent-Child Relationship and Adjustment to Adoption

摘要


本研究旨在探討親子關係治療課程對收養家庭在親子關係及收養適應之協助與影響,共招募兩位收養母親參與,並以Landreth與Bratton所發展的親子關係治療十週模式進行。研究者於課程前、第六次與第十次課程結束後,對兩位收養母親進行個別半結構式深度訪談,以質性研究之主題分析法進行資料分析。研究結果顯示,親子關係治療課程協助收養母親增進對自己與孩子情緒的覺察,孩子被理解後情感表達更自在,收養母親也透過親子互動技巧及態度的學習,省思調整親子關係,以包容態度接納孩子,促進親子關係更信任且穩固。親子關係治療課程協助收養母親調整教養態度及方法、孩子正向成長,孩子對身世告知的反應也趨於和緩、並能接受。最後,研究者針對研究結果進行討論,並對未來研究及實務工作提出建議。

The purpose of the current study aims to investigate the impact of adoptive family on parent-child relationship and adjustment to adoption after receiving child-parent relationship therapy courses. The study recruited two adoptive mothers to participate, which was based on a 10-week model founded by Landreth and Bratton. The adoptive mothers were interviewed individually before, the sixth, and the tenth training sessions respectively through the semi-structured in-depth interviews. Qualitative data were analyzed by thematic analysis. The research findings were as follows. First, the child-parent relationship training courses assisted the adoptive mothers in improving their self-awareness of themselves and their adopted children's emotions. Adopted children expressed feelings more freely as they felt understood. By enhancing the interactional skills and attitudes through training, adoptive mothers modified the relationships with children, accepted children with tolerance and patience, and the parent-child relationships became more trustworthy and stable. Moreover, the child-parent relationship education courses helped the adoptive mothers adjusted their parenting attitudes and methods to support their children growing up. The adopted child's response to the disclosure of adoption was more accepted. Based on the mutual collaboration of adoptive parents, the adjustment of adoption among parents and the child became more harmonious. Based on the results of the present study, the authors provided recommendations for practitioners and future researchers.
