An investigation into the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on junior and senior high school level-A volleyball players

Purpose: Comprehend the influence of the COVID19 pandemic on junior and senior high school level- A volleyball players. Method: Adopted questionnaire to investigate 109th academic year JHVL and HVL level A male and female volleyball players by conducting 584 valid questionnaires. Statistics included independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Scheffé test. Results: The pandemic only had a significant difference in gender from a perspective of "personal physical and mental health impact", whereas on the aspect of "sports training impact", training days, the frequency of training items and locations had significant differences. Furthermore, the pandemic on the factor of "course learning impact" had significant differences in both family situations and finances, while on the facet of " family relationship", accommodation and family finances had significant differences. Conclusion: During the pandemic, there was a dramatic increase in " the use of personal electronic devices" for the targeted volleyball players, leading to the main interactions with their coaches and teachers. This research suggests how trainers could adapt more effective training methods under limited conditions, enhancing candidates' participation and remaining enthusiasm to obtain more promising exercise effects.
