基層警察人員勉強出勤的探討-兼論與離職傾向的關係

The Relationship between Presenteeism and Turnover Intention: A Case Study on National Highway Police Bureau

摘要


相對於缺勤的概念,勉強出勤可用以解釋各種員工在職場的健康後果與工作後果,更是一種不能輕忽的全球普遍現象。本文亦延續有關離職傾向的研究,嘗試透過問卷調查的方法去知道,勉強出勤與離職傾向的關係、人口統計變項和勉強出勤的關係、人口統計變項和離職傾向的關係,並以內政部警政署國道公路警察局所屬基層員警為研究對象。研究發現:1.受測者表現出中高程度的勉強出勤現象,不論是出於積極動機還是消極動機,而離職傾向屬於中等程度。2.小隊長以上受測者的勉強出勤整體得分高於警員組別。3.離職傾向的強度不會因為年齡或年資的高低不同而有所差異,也不會受性別、婚姻狀況、職務類別、教育程度的影響。4.受測對象的勉強出勤與離職傾向有顯著的正向關係。5.勉強出勤行為頻率構面對離職傾向具有較佳之預測力。

The purpose of this study is to examine the current presenteeism and turnover intention of the street level police officers, also relationship between the two. This is a survey on the street-level police officers of National Highway Police Bureau, we take "personal attributes" as control variables, "presenteeism" as an independent variable, "turnover intention" as a dependent variable. Findings were: 1. Respondents' attitude towards "presenteeism" is medium-high, and their "turnover intention" is medium-low. 2. Only respondents' class of position had statistically effects on the level of presenteeism. 3. Respondents' age, seniority, gender, education, position, and marriage status had not statistically effects on the level of turnover intention. 4. The positive relationship between presenteeism and turnover intention were statistically significant. 5. The frequency of presenteeism is a better predictor for turnover intention.
