Master Taixu and Venerable Master Hsing Yun are the two most prominent masters in the history of Humanistic Buddhism. Both are considered to be Buddhism's great thinkers as well as activists with outstanding abilities of actual practice. Through an outlook of the Chinese revolution and Buddhist revolution, an analysis of the similarities and differences between these two masters's thinking on Humanistic Buddhism is given in this paper.
