苗栗縣頭份鎮宗教醫療研究

本文以文獻探討、田野調查方式對「宗教醫療」做出明確界定，分析其形成、醫者（執事者）、醫療觀，並藉前述定義針對「頭份宗教醫療現況」做調查與分析，探討其多元、複合而具彈性之診斷與治療觀，同時透過執事者執業觀探討頭份地方信仰圈普世價值，與當代宗教面臨問題。研究結果發現，宗教醫療為「一個以宗教功能對付疾病的方法，以信仰為中心思想孕育出來的醫療觀念與行為，具不成文、超自然、超地域的特質」，強調藉由超自然力量及宇宙觀和諧之均衡狀態說明疾病的原因，特別側重病人心理層面的平衡。而宗教醫療執事者入行原因影響其專長、提供服務與執業觀，同時決定執事場域型態，宗教醫療場域影響地方信仰圈樣貌，融合執事者執業觀與民間對宗教醫療之需求，形成頭份地區地方信仰普世價值。

The purpose of this research is to make a clear definition of "Religionary Therapy”. Not just to analysis of its formation, the healer (Deacon), medical concept on literature and fieldwork, but also investigate the medical status of religionary therapy in Toufen Township. Through the definition to discuss and composite the treatment of the elastic concept and observe the people who practice universal value concept to explore the district of local believes and the problems of religion in this area. This research found that Religionary Therapy is “a function to deal with the disease, the behaviors and thinking of medical which are developed by the concept of religion with unwritten, supernatural and crossing several regions. Emphasize the forces of supernatural and cosmology harmony of equilibrium that describes the disease, especially focus on the patient's psychological balance. The willing of deacons would affect their expertise and the services, meanwhile the concepts of practicing also decide their types and then, the faces of religion would be effected by the filed of religionary therepy. Combine with the views of practitioners and the requirements of people in this area, the universal values of religion in Toufen apparently appear.
