書寫策略與美學位置:廖偉棠在台出版作品與文學活動研究(1999-2020)

摘要


台灣與香港兩地由於地緣相近,在經濟、文化上多有交流。自1950年起台港兩地在文學傳播、作家流動上逐漸展開交流,1970至1980年間,台灣成為華文圈出版中心,報紙副刊提供香港作家跨域發表的園地。到了1990年後,中國時報與聯合報相繼舉辦的大型文學獎更成為華文圈作家進入台灣文學場域的敲門磚。同時,由於香港文學環境的限制,形成香港作家轉往香港以外的場地找尋發表機會和資源的現象,1990年後「兩大報文學獎」亦成為香港作家,進入台灣文學場域跨域出版作品的主要管道。 本文以1999年後香港作家廖偉棠進入台灣文學場域的發展軌跡為例,借布爾迪厄的「場域理論」概念以及張誦聖、劉乃慈將此一概念運用於台灣文學場域的延伸,觀察廖偉棠如何透過不同書寫策略與美學位置移動,在台灣文學場域中呈現出作家個人的特殊性,說明在進入台灣文學場域後,廖偉棠如何選擇相應的書寫策略,透過作品出版及其他文學活動在台灣文學場域中取得佔位、累積資本,並進一步固定、拓展出更多美學位置的發展軌跡。 在1999年初次獲得中國時報文學獎,進入台灣文學場域後,廖偉棠在作品出版與專欄撰寫之外,亦藉由參與台灣各大文學活動,延伸、拓展自己於文學場域中的位置。本論文指出廖偉棠以參賽文學獎作為獲取能見度的起點,接著陸續透過出版作品、撰寫專欄,參與各樣文學活動等行動轉換、累積自身資本,來固定、拓展自己在台灣文學場域中的位置。同時,廖偉棠在創作上碰觸到各種不同的美學位置,一向被冠上遷徙、遊歷於中、港、台與世界各地的「浪遊者」的廖偉棠,亦透過不同創作位置、書寫策略與讀者產生互動,在活動於台灣文學場域中的十幾年間,以多元的創作形式逐漸突破原有的詩人身份,作為一個具有多重身份的創作者於台灣文學場域中活躍並具有能見度。 自1950年代開始,香港文學進入台灣文學場域的過程,便在不同年份、文學生態、作家屬性上呈現出不同的發展情況。而若將廖偉棠置於1990至2000年後的台灣文學場域觀之,透過其作品書寫策略以及場域中的美學位置移動,可以看見其身為一個多元身份和跨地域的創作者,在台灣文學場域中更清晰的文學樣貌及其特殊性。

Taiwan and Hong Kong share economic and cultural exchanges due to their geographical proximity. Since 1950, Taiwan and Hong Kong have developed exchanges on literary dissemination. From 1970 to 1980, Taiwan became the publishing center of the Chinese circle, and Taiwan’s newspaper provided a venue for Hong Kong writers to cross-regional publishing. During the same period, owing to Hong Kong's literary environment limitations, Hong Kong writers have to seek publishing opportunities and resources outside Hong Kong. After 1990, "The Literature Award of China Times & United Daily News" provided the opportunity for Hong Kong writers to enter Taiwan's literary field and cross-regional publishing. This thesis takes Hong Kong writer Liu Wai-Tong’s entry into Taiwan’s literary field after 1999 as an example. This thesis is based on Bourdieu’s concept of "Field theory" as well as Chang Sung-Sheng’s and Liu Nai-Tzu’s application from this concept on the extension of Taiwan’s literary field. Namely, the thesis aims to observe how Liu Wai-Tong express writer’s distinctive feature in literature through different writing strategies and artistic position shifts. The thesis also explains how Liu Wai-Tong chooses the corresponding writing strategy after entering the Taiwan’s literary field. Through his publication works and other literary activities, he has obtained occupation, accumulated capital, and expanded further on artistic position in the field.Liu Wai-Tong, who has always been referred to as a "wanderer", has migrated and traveled among Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and other parts of the world. He has also come into being with readers through different positions and writing strategies. In the decades, Liu Wai-Tong’s activities in Taiwan’s literary field have gradually broken his original poetic identity. Instead, he has transform into multiple identities with multiple creative forms in writing. Since 1950s, the process of Hong Kong literature entering Taiwan's literary field has shown diverse developments in different years, literary ecology, and writer features. And if Liu Wai-Tong is placed in the field of Taiwanese literature after 1990 to 2000, we can see clear literary appearance and particularity in Taiwan’s literary field through his writing strategy and the movement of artistic position. That is, he is a multi-identity and trans-regional writer.
