Articles being published on academic journals represents the knowledge creation and the transmission. While the development of social network analysis (SNA), more and more studies explore the relationship of journals to journals citation network. Based on SNA, this study assesses citation relationship in business and management field. In the procedure, we used 102 journals from JCR to establish the citation matrix and then applied Pajek and UCINET as the analytical tool to measure the strength of citation relations, cluster analysis, information flow, role of journals and observation of similarity in citation structure. The purpose is to provide suggestions about journals of publishing in business and management, especially in other related discipline, for teachers and researchers. The results show journals in business and management have citation relationship with many other areas. In particular the journals of psychology, after four years it increases the links with journals in business and management categories, and the two fields become the core groups in bi-connected component analysis. In the analysis of information flow, more journals in business and management field exist information exchange process with other discipline, and most of them are citing journals, as well as information receiver. In multidimensional scaling analysis, as expected, most similar groups are in same academic field.
