企業如何創造及維持競爭優勢,對於公司與管理者而言為相當重要的問題。過去雖有著重產業結構或廠商內部對於競爭優勢創造的研究,然而過去文獻實證研究顯示廠商在變動快速的環境中,常常無法適應驟然的技術改變。本研究基於動態能力的觀點,探討廠商如何在變動快速的環境下,要如何不斷更新自我優勢以適應環境動盪。 本研究採用單一個案研究法,選擇國內電信產業之廠商為探討對象,探討企業經過組織轉型以及面臨經濟不景氣下公司策略受挫,而公司仍舊克服所有的困境,在市場上佔有一席之地。透過訪談公司與命題發展整理個案公司在面對組織改制與面臨全球金融風暴情況下,動態能力構面之變動。 從探討分析個案公司面臨外在環境劇烈變動過程中,本研究發現: 一、 企業面臨外在環境變動劇烈時,執行組織重整能力之可能性較高。 二、 企業擁有的能耐越多,維持領先市場地位的可能性越高。 三、 企業擁有的技術能力越高,企業辨識發展空間的機會越高。
How to create and maintain the enterprise’s competitive advantage is an issue of great significance for the whole company as well as the managers. In the past studies, industrial structure or firms’ interior as the main source of competitive advantage was investigated; however, the results of past empirical studies showed that under fast-moving environment, firms were often unable to be adapted to the condition of abrupt technical change. Based on dynamic capabilities perspective, this research is aimed at investigating how firms can renew and sustain their own advantages to be fit for an unstable environment. Using single-case study as the research method and taking one domestic telecommunication firm as an example, the research is to explore the way a firm can overcome all the difficulties and take its place in the telecommunication field under the situation that the original strategy failed due to the organizational transformation and recessive economy. Via interviews and proposition development, the research sorted out and collated data which described the variation of this firm’s dynamic capabilities dimensions during organizational change and global financial crisis. While analyzing and discussing the process that this firm faced the violent change of external environment, this research indicates the results as followings: 1. The more violently-moving external environment a firm faces, the more likely it is for a firm to make organizational change and transformation. 2. The more capacity a firm owns, the more likely it is for a firm to maintain a market leading position. 3. The more technical abilities a firm owns, the more room for development of enterprise recognition a firm will have.
