師資培育學生流行文化表現與批判媒體識讀之相關研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討師資培育學生流行文化表現與批判媒體識讀之關係,本研究以台灣含有師資培育學程大學之師資培育學程學生為研究母群體,共寄出正式問卷960份,有效問卷836份,有效問卷百分比為89%。本研究採量化設計,採描述統計、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析及多元迴歸分析等方法進行資料分析。藉由前述統計方法,本研究所得的結論如下: 一、師資培育學生在整體流行文化表現上為中間程度,以「網路使用」較高。 二、師資培育學生在整體批判媒體識讀上為中高程度,以「對媒體的思辨」較高。 三、女性、教育與師範大學、大學部、中部地區背景變項的整體流行文化表現上較高。 四、教育與師範大學、研究生背景變項的整體批判媒體識讀上較高。 五、整體流行文化表現愈高,整體批判媒體識讀也愈佳;但偶像崇拜和消費行為表現愈高,對媒體的思辨愈低。 六、流行文化表現對批判媒體識讀具有預測力。 1.偶像崇拜能夠預測對媒體的思辨和對媒體組織的分析。 2.網路使用能夠預測整體批判媒體識讀、對媒體的思辨及對閱聽人意義的反思。 3.流行用語能夠預測對閱聽人意義的反思和對媒體組織的分析。 4.消費行為僅能預測對媒體的思辨。

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between teacher education students’ popular culture performance and their critical media literacy in Taiwan. Participants include 960 teacher education students from universities that have teacher education program in Taiwan based on the method of stratified random sampling. Within 836 valid questionnaires are collected and the effective response rate is 89%. The received samples adopted frequency distribution and data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The conclusions were summarized as followed: 1.In the category of “popular culture”, teacher education students in Taiwan university got more scores in the trait of “internet using”. 2.In the category of “critical media literacy”, teacher education students in Taiwan university got more scores in the trait of “speculation on media”. 3.Among the background information on female, education and normal university, college students, and central district get higher score in popular culture performance. 4.The background information on education and normal university and graduate students both get higher score in critical media literacy. 5.The higher popular culture performance is, the better critical media literacy the students have at universities; but the higher idolatry and consumer behavior, the worse speculation on media the students have. 6.The popular culture performance can predict critical media literacy. a.Idolatry can predict speculation on media and analysis of media organizations. b.Internet using can predict critical media literacy, speculation on media, and reflections on the meaning of audience. c.Popular expression can predict reflections on the meaning of audience and analysis of media organizations. d.Consumer behavior can only predict speculation on media.
