Simply speaking, Otaku Economy is a series of economic activities developed to satisfy the need of the Japanese Otaku people. By observing and understanding these Otaku people, this research aims to find out the possibility of Otaku businesses, trying to help passive consumers become profit winners who either develop or manufacture their products. Coupled with the discussion about other documents and case studies, the author tries to apply his practical experience accumulated in the past to the construction of an innovative business model for Network platform operators and to offer the home workers a Network platform for training and profit-making. It is also expected that the study of Otaku Economy will give more practical inspiration to its relevant research and development.
