Foot pain is a common problem in clinics of Chinese Medicine. Supportive treatment is mostly adopted in western medicine. In Chinese medicine, however, clinicians use acupuncture and Chinese manipulative therapy to treat these patients. This is a case of foot tendinitis caused by sports injury. The patient had received acupuncture for many times, but the pain didn't improve. As a result, we tried to do acutonics therapy for this patient. Acutonics is a non-invasive therapy, using tuning forks as the tool. We placed different tuning forks on patients' meridians, acupoints, and aura. The vibration of tuning forks could bring about the effect of the treatment. After two times of acutonics treatment in our case, we saw significant improvement in pain scale and activities.
