臺灣體育運動史研究進路探究

The Study of the Research Approach of Physical Education and Sport History in Taiwan

摘要


本文旨在分析臺灣體育運動史研究所採用之取向,並從考察當代西方史學的演變進程中,提擬未來擴增新的研究進路。經分析和考察發現臺灣體育運動史多採科學的和客觀的取向,以及相對的和反客觀的取向來進行史學研究,這些取向的歷史觀點均後設歷史為一直線發展的形式,亦形成評定史學研究單一的和獨尊的標準。但自從新史學觀點出現後,歷史被認為是多層次、多視角、多樣貌、多元性的立體形象,研究者可從多元的視角切入,採用不同的方法,針對提問進行回答,綜合性及總體性地來瞭解欲探究議題之全貌。是以本文提擬現有的研究取向外,臺灣體育運動史研究應再擴增綜合的及總體的研究取向,跨領域與各種人文及社會科學做整合性的探討,以深化體育運動史研究的影響力。

The purposes of this study were to analyze the historical research approaches of physical education (PE) and sport history, to examine the change of the historical thought in West, and explore a new direction of historical research of PE and sport. After the analysis and examination, the results were as following. The mainstream historical research of PE and sport in Taiwan was the ”scientific & subjective” and ”relative & anti-objective” approaches. These approaches thought the history was the mode of linear development and the judgment of historical studies were unique. After the movement of New History, the history was thought as multi-face, multi-dimension and multi-vision. The researchers could answer the questions by multiple ways and different methods. Therefore the issue could be understood holistically and synthetically. The conclusions were to propose the ”holistic & synthetic” historical research approach.
