外籍看護提供長者照護服務的品質與長者健康結果有關,本研究旨在探討外籍看護對失能長者之照顧知識、態度與行為(技能)之關係,研究方法採橫斷式研究,運用結構式問卷量表以臺灣北部某區域醫院120名外籍看護為研究對象,調查外籍看護的照顧知識、態度與行為(技能)等資料,再使用SPSS 26套裝軟體進行描述統計、皮爾森積差相關檢定、獨立t檢定、迴歸統計分析。研究結果:(1)外籍看護之照顧知識與態度之相關未達統計上意義(r=.17,p>.05),照顧知識與行為(技能)及照顧態度與行為(技能)之相關達統計上意義(r=.37,p<.01)、(r=.47,p<.01)(2)外籍看護的人口學變項分別影響照顧知識、態度與行為(技能)之間的差異;外籍看護的教育程度越高且照顧經驗一年以上,有好的國語溝通能力,其照顧知識越好;年紀輕、印尼籍的外籍看護其照顧態度越正向;印尼籍、無固定宗教信仰的外籍看護,教育程度越高且有好的國語溝通能力,其照顧行為(技能)越好;此研究可作日後外籍看護教育訓練計畫參考及進一步研究的基礎,以提升長者健康結果。
The quality of elderly care services provided by foreign caregivers was related to the health outcomes of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between caregiving knowledge, attitudes and technical skills of foreign caregivers for disabled elders. There were 120 foreign caregivers in a regional hospital in northern Taiwan as the research populations. They agreed and signed the informed consent. The questionnaires included the nursing care knowledge, attitudes and behavior (technical skills) of foreign caregivers, and were analyzed by SPSS26 software package for descriptive statistics, Pearson product-related test, independent t test, and regression analysis. The results showed (1) there was a positive correlation between care knowledge, attitudes and technical skills of foreign caregivers, care knowledge and attitudes (r = .17, p > .05), care attitudes and behavior (technical skills) (r = .47, p < .01), and care knowledge and behavior (technical skills) (r = .37, p < .01), and (2) factors, such as the educational level of foreign care, the age of care, the experience of care, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin affected differently in care knowledge, attitudes and technical skills. Foreign caregivers who had higher levels of education, more than one year of care experience, and better ability of Chinese language communication had better ability in care knowledge. Foreign caregivers who were younger Indonesian had a more positive care attitude. Indonesian caregivers who had elasticity religious beliefs, the higher education level and the good communication skills of Mandarin had better care technical skills. This study can serve a basis in nursing practice for future reference and further research on foreign caregivers' education training programs to improve the health outcomes of the elderly.
