Chinese Abstract

對刺激需要持續注意的工作,通常喚起一種皮質層的活動,此稱爲前額中葉theta波(Fmθ),Fmθ除了與情緒的經驗、維持及內化的注意力、持續性注意力、認知資源的分配有關之外,也與短暫動態與高專注力準確性運動的表現有關。目的:探討高低技能水準飛鏢者在投擲動作前的Fmθ波差異。方法:參與者爲高技能飛鏢投擲者11位,每位投擲120支鏢;低技能飛鏢投擲者11位,每位投擲60支鏢。收集投擲動作前2秒的腦波資料,以每段1秒的時間切割爲2段,分析5個電極位置(Fz, F3, F4, C3, C4)的theta波,頻率爲4-7Hz。結果:高低技能二組成績達顯著差異,技能水準與時間視窗二者有交互作用存在,高技能飛鏢者的Fmθ比低技能者更加穩定。結論:高技能飛鏢投擲者在動作執行前,穩定的注意力狀態有助於運動表現。有鑑於此,可以推斷Fmθ的逐漸下降對低技能飛鏢投擲者而言,有礙於他們的表現。

English Abstract

Task conditions which require continuous attention to a stimulus usually evoke a specific kind of cortical activation that has been termed frontal midline theta. How the frontal midline theta's temporal dynamics relates to concentration demanding precision sports such as dart throw is rarely studied. Purpose: To investigate the differences between high and low-skilled dart throwers in their frontal midline theta during performance. Methods: 11 skilled and 7 beginning dart throwers were recruited, and required to perform 120 (high-skilled) and 60 (low-skilled) dart throws. EEG was recorded at 5 electrode sites (Fz, F3, F4, C3 and C4). The recorded EEG of the last 2 seconds prior to the initiation of movement was segmented into two 1-sec epochs. Cleaned Theta (4-7Hz) was derived from these EEG epochs. Results: the performance of high skilled was significant with low skilled and that there was a significant interaction effect between skill level and time window. The frontal midline theta of skilled throwers was more stable than that of the beginners. Conclusion: This infers that the steady attention state of the skilled players before dart throw aids their performance, whereas it can be deduced that the gradually decreasing frontal midline theta in low-skilled dart throwers is harmful to their performance.
