Lean Thinking is a methodology or management philosophy. It can be valued by the customer’s viewpoint to determine which activities are value-adding. Utilizing Lean Thinking can eliminate unnecessary activities and simplify production processes. Furthermore, it can accelerate production process and improve product quality. Continuous revising and developing procedures can promote the production efficiency and customer requirement. Lean Maintenance is quite different from the traditional Maintenance. In this research, the principles of Lean Thinking, Value Stream Mapping Analysis and Lean Technique were applied to establish Lean Maintenance Model. The revised Lean Maintenance Model is demonstrated as a better methodology in a case study of Intermediate Maintenance Depot.
