Sewage treatment plant is one of the primary location for sewage and wastewater treatment. The public does not have clear impression on the sewage treatment plant, neither do they understand its major missions. Therefore, this study aims to collect sewage treatment plants’ information in area of Douliu city, in Yunlin County, Taiwan, through information summarizing and analyzing, as well as introducing environmental education related topics, to enhance public awareness and add significance to the environmental education. 
This can be divided into three dimensions: 1. Establish “Water Environmental Education” visit series: Primarily by redesigning and utilizing existing equipment in plant, to explain the environmental sewage treatment process under the theme of microbial sewage treatment. 2. Develop Ecological Recreation Park: Set up ecological pool, plant a large number of trees, and create ecological corridors towards carbon neutrality. 3. Establish local societal and cultural characteristics: In order to establish local environmental features, blending in the surrounding Pomegranate community with its cultural history. 
The design of these three dimensions facilitate the move towards medium and long-term development objectives. The medium-term goal aims to invite nearby elementary and middle school students to visit the sewage treatment plant. Through guide tours, students’ perception on water use will be changed and meanwhile influence family members of theirs. The long term goal focuses on mainly people doing recreational activities on weekends. By changing peoples’ perception on sewage treatment and water conservation, sewage treatment concept will become prevalent. Not only does this accomplishes the meaning of ecological education, but also endows the sewage treatment plant with a brand new impression.
