The purposes of this essay concentrate on "metaphor" and "imagination" concepts and implications for moral / character education in Taiwan through the perspective of P. Ricoeur and M. Nussbaum. Therefore, this essay is intended as investigations as follows: 1. analyze Ricoeur's discourse about metaphor and the relevant concepts; 2. explore Nussbaum's discourse about imagination; 3. provide implications and suggestions for moral/character education based on the research results.
