外包產能是Fabless公司的生產特性,而外包產能管理的好壞直接影響公司獲利的空間。因此本研究針對Fabless發展一套外包產能規劃(BCP:Booking Capacity Planning)機制,期提供較佳的產能分配結果,以解決目前業界的產能分配問題。本研究先以供給和需求兩個構面,提出適合Fabless的生產規劃流程,並將屬於BCP的供給面分為淨需求計劃、淨產能需求計劃和外包產能分配計劃三大部份。同時,利用線性規劃構建淨需求模式以及各製程的產能分配模式,並將各製程階段的特定廠商、需求、製程能力等限制納入考量,求得生產成本、品質損失成本、採購成本和顧客損失成本的總成本最小化。
One of the unique production characteristics for Fabless is outsourcing capacity. The management of outsourcing capacity lays a strong impact on profitability. The purpose of this paper is to propose a mechanism of Booking Capacity Planning (BCP) and to handle the capacity allocation problem for Fabless. From both supply and demand view points, we present a production planning mechanism for Fabless and divide BCP into three stages: net demand planning, net capacity demand planning, and outsourcing capacity allocation planning. Linear programming technique is employed to construct the net demand model and the capacity allocation model for each stage to minimize the total cost including production cost, quality loss cost, purchase cost, and customer loss cost.
