FRP had been widely utilized in new war ships’ construction, included hulls and superstructures. In this study, we referred to the general appearance of war ship’s superstructure and used BV open package Compose-IT to de-sign the stacking arrangements. The loadings considered in this study were general weights of equipment and extra maximum wind pressure reached to 100 knots. Furthermore, ABAQUS was used to simulate and verify the strength of designed superstructure when it subjected to specific loadings. In order to maintain enough structure rigidity, we used top-hat stiffeners to reinforce the rigidity of opening and FRP plate, and confirmed the structural response by numerical simulation results. Finally, we have successfully used the specification to design FRP superstructure.
