Web Proxy Load Balancer Implementaton Strategy

摘要


ADSL線路的降價讓各級學校及機關行號多了一個拓展頻寬的方向,但是多條線路的整合卻仍是新產生的問題。雖然現今已有整合多條線路的負載平衡器,但是價格昂貴卻非一般機關學校所能接受。由於大部分的學校都把ADSL線路當作Web Proxy使用,如果我們能在Proxy伺服器上作些設定,就可以達到負載平衡的功能。先前有學者提出一種機制,使用n+1台電腦整合n條ADSL線路,達到線路的負載平衡。這種方法可以省去高昂的費用去購買市售的負載平衡器,但是n+1台電腦仍需要一筆可觀的開銷。本文中我們將提出一種整合機制,僅需要使用一台電腦即可整合n條ADSL線路,不僅可以省下不少費用,同時也可以避免過多的電腦佔用機房的空間。只需要使用一台電腦就可以完成數條ADSL線路的整合及完成負載平衡,將使得各級學校及機關行號都可以採用這種成本低廉的方式拓展對外的網路頻寬。

The price-cutting of ADSL makes all or different levels of schools and government organizations have a new direction to broaden the bandwidth, but the integration of many circuits is a new problem. Although there exist many load balancers now, but it’s so expensive that the general schools couldn’t accept the high price. Because most schools take the ADSL circuit as a Web Proxy, if we could make some setting on the Proxy server, and we could achieve the function of load balance. Previously, a scholar proposed a scheme that used the number of n + 1’s computers to integrate the number of n’s load balancers for the load balance of circuit. This scheme could save the expensive expense for the load balance, but the number of n + 1 computers still cost lots of money. In this paper, we propose an integrating scheme, and it not only could save lots of expense, but also avoids the space for extra computers in generator room; we need only one computer to achieve the integration of multi circuits of ADSL and complete the load balance to let all or different levels of schools and government organizations could adopt the low-cost of networking bandwidth.
