本計畫意圖建構以糖尿病營養知能,以協助衛教專業人員遂行糖尿病患之衛教工作。本文依據國健署之宣導文件、專業文獻,篩選出常見對糖尿病控制具顯著影響的飲食營養名詞,以層級分析法經學術與實務界之十位專業營養師,護理師,衛教師辨識出最關鍵的與營養飲食相關的知識名詞,選出77項衛教詞彙,採四分法測量民眾對於衛教詞彙的瞭解程度,選出的77項衛教詞彙,分為食品、營養成分、烹調方式、身體狀況與反應、藥品、生活型態改變等六大項。初步以32位糖尿病患檢測,量表之信度在0.893以上,校標關聯效度,與營養知識得分具有0.521以上顯著相關,初步判斷此量表具有可接受之信效度。
We reported the procedure of building a nutrition literacy scale specific for patients with diabetic mellitus. Purpose of building such a scale was to provide an easy and useful instrument to assistant health education professionals. Based on the health promotion materials that were offered by the National Health Protection Bureau, we identified most significant items that were frequently used to communicate with diabetic patients. An analytic hierarchy procedure was adopted to invite ten experts of nutrition, nursing, and health education from both academicians and practitioners to judge a final list of most critical terms that may affect the control of diabetic mellitus. As a result, a list of 77 items was identified for six categories. The scale was initially tried with 32 selected patients who visited health education office. The results indicated a reliability with Cronbach's alpha at 0.893, and a criterion-related validity at a correlation coefficient at 0.521 with nutrition knowledge. The scale has shown an acceptable in practical use. Health education professionals may adopt this scale to identify the patient's levels of nutrition literacy, and then organize the education program or content before delivering a health education.
