從國內將婚伴侶的婚姻承諾談婚前教育

From Marital Commitment of Engaged Couples to Look at Premarital Education in Taiwan

摘要

本研究初步嘗試運用配對研究(pair research)的方式，針對20對即將婚姻體制的將婚伴侶，進行深入訪談，檢視伴侶雙方對於婚姻承諾的多元意涵，藉此反省國內婚前教育政策的施行，並提出以下三點建議：
1.關注國內特殊的歷史脈絡所呈現出多元的文化價值型態，釐清伴侶關係中兩人的價值信念，並取得雙方實質互動與期待一致性的共識，包括澄清傳統社會價值觀的影響、檢視自己對於婚姻的期待、評估伴侶關係的滿意程度。
2.因地制宜，學習新加坡「家庭服務中心是您的好鄰居」的發展概念，以社區工作模式落實家庭教育。
3.劃分兩性交友階段與婚前準備工作，並考量多元的文化價值型態，強化婚前教育與婚前諮商／輔導的連結。

The present study used pair research to conduct in-depth interviews with 20 engaged couples in Taiwan. The goal is to examine the multiple levels of meanings of marital commitment of these couples. This also helps to examine how the present policies of premarital education make any impact in Taiwan. The researcher then made the following suggestions:
1. We should pay more attention to the multiple cultural values on marital commitment. It would be helpful to encourage couples to look at their own values and beliefs on marital commitment and try to reach a common ground on martial expectations in different aspects of marriage.
2. We can learn from Singapore's experience of having a family service center in every district and use this community work model to introduce family life education in Taiwan.
3. We should have clearer distinction between educational programs for singles and for premarital couples, and to keep multiple cultural values in mind. Finally, we should further strengthen the link between premarital education and premarital counseling/guidance.
