黃春明小說中的老人關懷探析－兼論「售票口」的意涵及省思
An Analysis on the Issue of Senior Care in the Fictions of Huang Chun Ming-Also Discussing the Implication and Reflections on "Ticket Window"
摘要
作家的思想言行無法脫離社會，其作品是否感人，常常決定於作品與社會的連結性。因為，只有當文學和社會現實密切結合，才有深邃的意義。黃春明的小說，從早期到晚近，一直貼近著鄉土與弱勢，他一向被文學界公認是最具社會關懷的作家。他自承創作動機皆由於對社會的關注，一輩子要走「為人生而藝術」之路。黃春明對小說的選材一向獨具慧眼，他很早就已注意到社會轉型後農村人口高齡化的困境。他用小說去紀錄自己強烈感受到的嚴重問題，並探索內在的複雜性，企圖藉此傳遞個人的觀察與理念。他主張作家要透過不斷的自省和批判，來發現社會的真實。他自許：身為一個作家，有責任將自己周邊發現的問題反映出來。1999年10月，黃春明先生的小說集《放生》一書問世，書中收入的十篇小說，篇篇都以老人為描述的對象。其中＜售票口＞一文，刻劃著一群侷促在偏僻鄉下的老人，他們不再能藉提供寶貴的「老經驗」，以證明自己的存在價值，也無力對抗新時代對他們的忽視與冷漠，他們只是一群在寒寂中等待子女「關愛」的老人。黃春明以慈悲的筆端，描繪著一群老人共同命運之悲歌。本文擬從台灣人口高齡化的社會視角，縱觀黃春明小說中所呈現對社會弱勢悲憫的情懷，特別是對老人的關懷，並從＜售票口＞一文，探析黃春明所擬傳遞對老人關懷議題的積極思考。

What a writer thinks, says, and does can not isolate from the society. Whether a writer's works are touching or not, it depends on their connection with the society. Literature has its deep meaning only when it is closely connected with social reality. Huang Chun-Ming in his fictions, from early stages to present, has portrayed the uneducated and disadvantaged who must cope with assaults on their traditionalism, hostility from their urban brethren and of course, the debilitating effects of poverty. Huang Chun-Min has been generally recognized as the author of Taiwanese nativist fiction whose works show most social care. Huang paid attention early to the dilemma owing to population ageing in developing society Huang Chun-Ming's short-story collection ”Freeing the Captured Animals” was published in October, 1999. The characters he portrayed in the ten stories collected were all seniors. In ”Ticket Window”, one of the ten stories, he depicted a group of old people who lived in a remote village and whose life experience could not prove the value of their existence any more. Huang wrote with mercy the tragedy of a group of old people who could not resist the negligence and indifference from the new age but waited for their children's care and love. This paper is trying to analyze, from the view of population ageing in Taiwan, the issue of senior care in the fictions of Huang Chun Ming especially in 'Ticket Window”.
