Direct body contact and closed working space sometimes made blind masseuses vulnerable to sexual harassments. Some studies also show that sexual harassments happened to females more often than males. Blind masseuses have no other choice but to continue their current job because of finding another jobs are more difficult. Therefore, they have some tactics about their body boundaries when they encounter harassments at work. These tactics are important parts in their labor. The purpose of this study is to discuss how blind masseuses maintain the body boundaries. The research methods of this study involved in-depth interview and participatory observation. Eight blind masseuses, one masseur, and two significant persons are interviewed. Their workplaces are divided into four different categories. We argue that blind masseuses use different tactics according to the workplaces they are situated.
