The purpose of the article was to explore the psychodrama training model, ”Four Chairs”, by using the theories of spontaneity and creativity, the philosophical concepts of psychodrama. ”Four Chairs” created by Dr. Dorothy Satten, a psychodrama trainer, educator, and practitioner, was a training method for the three roles in psychodrama, protagonist, double, and auxiliary ego. Through employing role reversal and mirroring techniques, For Chairs can be used for directing a psychodrama. In this article, the author illustrated the implement of Four Chairs in a psychodrama via a case example.
