Ven. YinShun devotes all his life to Buddhist research. But how to let the international Buddhist academic circles to pay heed to his inspirational viewpoints and insights will be a noticeable topic. This is what I am going to discuss in this paper. Firstly, I will review some short responses of international Buddhist academic circles to YinShun's ideas in the past. Secondly, I will take YinShun's Madhyamaka research, his classification of Buddhist teachings, his research methods for Buddhist studies, and his theory of the origins of Mahayana in discussing the possible directions of the internationalization of YinShun's thought. Finally, I would like to bring up the prospect in terms of forming a research team for the YinShun Study in the near future.
