釔90微球體－肝臟腫瘤選擇性體內放射線療法簡介及護理
Yittrium-90 Microspheres-Selective Internal Radiation Therapy for Hepatic Neoplasm and Nursing Application
摘要
釔90(Yttrium-90)是一種放射性同位素，將之黏附於由特殊樹脂所製成的微粒球體上，直接注射至腫瘤處，可有效殺死癌細胞並降低對周圍組織的傷害，此項技術目前在肝臟腫瘤的治療上有良好的成效。依據臨床經驗，病人大都只須施打一次，即有七成反應率。經追蹤初步影像腫瘤反應率評估，確實可延長病人存活時間，提高病人疾病控制率及維持病人生活品質。而治療後的護理著重於輻防安全、病人污染物處理及其隔離措施。

Yttrium-90microsphere radioembolization is an non-surgical procedure used to treat inoperable liver cancer. By deliveringmicrospheres which contain the radioactive elememt yttrium-90 directly to the hepatic tumors from supplying hepatic artery, the cancer cells are destroyed with little hazardous effect to healthy adjacent structure. The clinical response rate is up to 70%. The treatment could prolonge survival time, increase disease control rate and maintain the life quality of the patient. The post-procedure care should emphasis on radiation protection, radioactive waste disposal and isolation.
