Esophageal hemangioma is a rare esophageal tumor and is usually asymptomatic. Treatment for an esophageal hemangioma is indicated when the patient shows symptoms of dysphagia and bleeding. Treatment modalities include surgical excision and endoscopic eradication therapy through sclerotherapy or band ligation. We report the case of a 44-year-old man who presented with a 25-mm hemangioma of the lower esophagus that was completely removed via endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) without complications.
