The Development of a New Defect Factor of Journal Bearings

並列摘要

By using advanced technologies, such as fuzzy logic, it is possible to significantly reduce the time of metering data retrieval during the monitoring of mechanical systems and mechanisms. It is also possible to increase the reliability of diagnostic methods. This paper presents the development of a new thermo-vibration defect factor of journal bearings - DFJB, which contains accurately processed information about the temperature and vibration of the bearing housing. Other control parameters such as oil film thickness in the bearing housing or ultrasound emission intensity of the bearing housing can be used for some applications. Applying the thermo-vibration defect factor of journal bearings significantly simplifies the diagnostic procedure for the journal bearings, because the two most important technical factors, temperature and vibration, are intelligently integrated into a single technical defect factor. This is especially important for complex systems with large number of measuring points where an operator overloading often occurs.
