臺灣智能障礙運動分級發展

A Study on the Sport Classification for Athletes with Intellectual Disabilities in Taiwan

摘要


目的:本研究旨在探討臺灣智能障礙運動分級制度,在過去與現今追求與維護公平性發展的情形。方法:本研究透過四位具有豐富經驗的分級師與其他專業人員進行資料蒐集,再利用紮根理論研究法的編碼方式,來整理與分析資料,以探究深入現場脈絡的人員們,對臺灣智能障礙運動分級的看法。結果:一、臺灣與國際智能障礙運動分級的設置,乃立基於公平原則,而在早期的資格審查,條件相當寬鬆;因此,爆發許多的爭議;二、智能障礙運動分級的建立,需要花費相當龐大的時間、人力、經費,且要有政策的支持;三、臺灣尚未銜接國際,僅有資格的形式審查作法,卻無單項運動的特殊性智能障礙分級機制;四、在分級的觀念、人才、經費等方面的闕如,造成現今臺灣智能障礙運動分級的演進,遭遇了莫大的阻礙,目前仍處於慢步艱辛的發展狀態。結論:一、公平性的追求與維護是智障運動分級的立基;二、我國智能障礙運動分級技術正處慢步艱辛的發展狀態;三、理應積極發掘阻滯向前邁進而尚待解決的不利因素。最後,提供相關改進建議及省思,以資從事適應體育同道之參酌。

Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the development and current status of sport classification for athletes with intellectual disabilities in Taiwan which has been developing for equity in past and present. Methods: This study employed qualitative research approaches of grounded theory concerning coding technique to arrange and analysis data by in-depth interviewing 4 experienced practical experts of ID sport classification. Results: The research indicated that: 1. In early stages, the qualification censoring in Taiwan and international ID sport classification was quite lose. Therefore, it resulted in lots of disputes. 2. The establishment of ID sport classification cost enormous time, effort, and money needed to be supported by policies. 3. It has not linked up between Taiwan and international societies. There was only a primary eligibility, but not ID sport classification. 4. The causes of developing limitations concerning sport classification in Taiwan were the deficiency of correct concept, talented participants, and adequate funds. Conclusion: Based on this study, three conclusions were as follows: 1. The base of ID sport classification is the pursuing and maintenance of the equity. 2. The techniques of ID sport classification are located in a slower and struggling developmental stage. 3. Those disadvantageous factors and barriers related to the development of ID sport classification should actively be explored and removed in Taiwan. Finally, this study provided concrete improving recommendations and reflections in the area and future study of ID sport classification.
