摘要
In what follows I investigate the notion of compassion and its meditative cultivation in the way this is described in the Pāli Nikāyas and their Āgamas parallels extant in Chinese translation, as well as in Sanskrit fragments and discourses preserved in Tibetan translation, whenever available.
