雪佛里椰子種子萌芽促進及盆栽品質提升之探討

摘要

雪佛里椰子是一頗具觀賞價值之盆栽棕櫚，一般用種子繁殖，但因種子大都由國外進口，且經乾燥處理，加以本身具堅硬內果皮，常造成種子萌芽慢而且不整齊，對栽培者造成困擾。本場為解決上述問題，分別以溫度、浸水時間及化學藥劑處理種子進行試驗，結果顯示雪佛里椰子種子在播種前浸水二至三天，再置於35℃生長箱培育，經過50天即可發芽，最後發芽率可達80%以上，發芽期較室溫環境栽培下縮短一至四個月。此外播種前以5%硫酸處理1分鐘，最後種子發芽率亦可達80%。雪佛里椰子性喜稍蔭環境，為提高其盆栽品質，本試驗亦探討其適當的遮光環境及肥培管理。試驗結果顯示在80%遮光網下栽培，每週施以花寶二號三千倍的液肥，盆栽品質較佳。但在60、40%遮光網及室外環境下栽培，卻以每週施花寶二號一千倍的液肥，盆栽品質較佳。

For improving germination and potted quality of Chamaedorea seifrizii, two experiments have been conducted. First, the seeds of seifrizii were treated with different temperatures, soaking durations and chemicals to improve their germination rate and duration. Results showed the seeds of seifrizii must be soaked in water for two or three days before sowing, then, put them in growth chamber under the temperature of 35℃, they will germinate in 55 days. The rate of germination can reach 80%, the duration of germination was one to four months shorter than other treatments. Furthermore, dispose the seeds with 5% H2SO4 1 minute before sowing, the rate of germination can also reach 80%.The second experiment was conducted to improve potted quality of seifrizii by shading and fertilization. Results showed the quality of potted seifrizii will be better with those under 80% shading environment and fertilizing Hyponex No. 2 3000x every week. However, under natural condition with 60, 40% shading, the quality of potted seifrizii was better, by applying Hyponex No. 2 1000x every week.
