高雄港灣廢油污染之調查研究

Oil Pollution in Kaohsiung Harbor

摘要


1.第一港口附近海域之廢油及廢水污染均較第二港口附近海域嚴重。 2.表層水(5cm)之水中溶油較底層(3m)爲高。 3.海面浮油之主要來源爲礦物油。 4.浮油之沸點很高,超過500℃之分餾平均爲75%。 5.底土含有很高之油分。 6.高雄港內生物體內礦物油之含量佔有很高之比例。 7.化學需氧量受到水中溶油之影響,二者成正比之關係。 8.高雄港外近海亦遭受到廢油之污染。

Environment marine pollution caused by crude oil or the like has rapidly been increasing with the development of industry. Now, Kaohsiung harbor has become the biggest international port of Taiwan. Because it is crowded with brisk seaborne traffic and shipping industries developed around it, waste oil is drifting throughout the harbor. Meanwhile, the domestic sewage and industrial wastes of Kaohsiung city are discharged into the harbor without any pre-treatment. This wastewater also contains a small amount of fat and oil. In order to investigate the distribution and the effect of oil pollution in Kaohsiung harbor, the present state of oil pollution and water quality have been studied. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The hydrocarbon contents of oil drifting on water surface indicated that the primary source of waste oil is mineral oil. 2. By using fractional distillation, 75% of oil drifting on water surface was collected over 500℃. 3. The sludges contained oil with a high level. 4. The shellfish also contained hydrocarbons with a high level.
