Dynamics of the Multiphoton Process of the Electrons Scattering by Atoms in a Laser Field

The electron-atom scattering in the pressence of an intense radiation field has been investigated by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation in momentum space. It is found that the dynamics of the multiphoton process during the scattering can be well understood according to this formulation. Some interesting points regarding the multiphoton process are discussed.
