Electronic publishing has been the most brilliant star in the communication industries. It brings Human society with promises, but also challenges. This article is aimed at exploring the impact of Electronic publications on university library services. The author first defines the scope of electronic Publications, following by a brief introduction of two most popular products: multimedia CD-ROM and electronic magazine. Next, the author lists several service problems resulted from these new media. This paper is wrapped up with an exploration to resolve these identified problems based on the author's experience.
