體重控制營養評估電腦輔助互動系統之研發

摘要


體重控制為當今各組學校和醫院臨床上主要的課題。為了降低肥胖所引起的慢性疾病發生率和醫療成本,以及提供正確與適合個人的體重控制計劃,設計體重控制營養評估電腦輔助互動系統,內容包括(一)、理想體重計算、(二)、減重系統、(三)運動配合三個部份分。第一部份理想體重計算涵蓋個人理想體重範圍計算和體位評估,熱量及三大營養素計算,飲食與運動建議;第二部份減重系統則包含減重者的六大類食物份數建議、菜單示範和運動選項,以及能量攝取和消耗之間平衡的評估興建議。系統也提供肥胖基本概念、正確體重控制法、烹調方法、以及健康體適能基本之介紹。另外評估研究指出70%以上相關科系對於互動系統的各部分內容能輔助專業知識學習表達同意或非常同意,亦有70%以上非相關科系學生能了解應用互動系統的各部分內容,並且希望未來能繼續使用類似電腦輔助互動系統。

Schools and medical clinics heavily emphasize weight control due to an increasing incidence of related chronic diseases and medical costs. Therefore, this work presents a computer-aided interactive system for weight control and nutritional assessment which utilizes a proper individualized schedule. The proposed system comprises: a) calculation of ideal body weight, i.e. , determining the ideal body weight and assessing current body weight condition as well as individual nutritional guidance; b) weight reduction, i.e. , providing recommended serving size of food, suggesting diet and exercise, as well as offering menu demonstrations for individuals who want to lose weight; and c) fitness strategies, i.e. , displaying the results of energy expenditure from aerobic exercise and the balance of energy consumption and expenditure. The proposed system also includes a nutritional consultant to introduce strategies for reducing the likelihood of obesity, for controlling weight, for cooking as well as for undertaking fitness exercises. Evaluation results indicate receptiveness towards professional-aided learning by at least 70% of university students from the Department of Food and Nutrition, Chinese Culture University. Additionally, more than 70% of university students from departments not related to food and nutrition displayed a favorable attitude towards learning more about this interactive system. The interactive system is anticipated to be widely implemented in the near future.
