摘要

本研究主要目的為探討憂鬱症住院患者的職能功能及生活品質以及二者間之關係。個案來自於北部一所醫學中心的精神科病房，共有103位患者參與研究，男生27位，女生76位，平均年齡為43.68歲（標準差＝15.79）。本研究採用台灣簡明版世界衛生組織生活品質問卷以及其他具良好信、效度的中文版問卷，以評估受試者的症狀嚴重度、職能功能及生活品質。研究資料以SPSS軟體進行統計分析。研究結果顯示，憂鬱症住院患者的生活品質不佳，甚至低於一般疾病個案，而生活品質與個案的職能功能及滿意度具低度顯著相關，也與個案的意志功能、習慣化功能以及表現技巧的能力有低度至中度顯著相關。由於職能治療專業目標在改善個案的生活品質，本研究結果顯示，提升個案的職能功能將是職能治療對憂鬱症患者介入之重點。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between occupational functioning and quality of life for inpatients with depressive disorders. The patients were recruited from a medical center in the northern part of Taiwan. There were 103 participants (27 males and 76 females), and the mean age was 43.68 years (SD=15.79). The symptom severity, occupational functioning and quality of life were evaluated using standardized evaluation. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that patients with depressive disorder had poor quality of life which was lower than patients with general medical conditions. Each domain of the quality of life correlated significantly with variables of occupational functioning (such as perceived efficacy and satisfaction with performance) and volitional, habituational, and performance skills. The results suggest that improving occupational functioning of the depressive patients could be beneficial for the enhancement of the quality of life.
